The Club

Sidmouth Town Football Club is an FA Charter Standard Club and have three senior teams, the first XI play in the South West Peninsula League, Premier East Division, moving there from the Devon & Exeter league in 2011. The second XI play in the Premier Division of the Devon & Exeter League and the newly started U18 team will be in the Devon County U18 League.

The club has close ties with Sidmouth Town Junior Vikings AFC who are also an FA Charter Standard Club. Since starting in 1980 the junior club has continued to grow and now has over 200 players ranging in age from 7 to 16, with 16 teams being fielded each weekend. The club enters teams into the Exeter and District Youth League and East Devon Youth League.

The clubhouse has a well stocked bar, skittle alley and members room and is home to a number of darts, skittles and pool teams. There is food available on match days and the club has Sky and BT tv throughout. We also have our own mini bus and whilst its primary use is to ferry players to and from games it is also available for members to use for social events throughout the year.

The changing and shower rooms were extended during 2010 and the club’s pitch is amongst the best in the league. The club pitch at Manstone Lane has modern LED floodlights, and two covered stands, including a 50 seated one added in 2021. In 2018 the Ken Mortimore building was added to the manstone clubhouse. This houses the groundsmans storage area as well as a well equiped gym room for use by club players and members. Various social functions are held throughout the year, there is parking for around 20 vehicles in the club car park.
